Testimonials

“My sister was murdered by her ex-boyfriend in front of her eight-year old daughter. Worst day in our families lives. She was only 29 years old. The second worst day in our lives was when the inmate was up for parole. Bret and Block Parole helped to block the killers parole and keep him where he belongs the rest of his life, in prison. Bret and Block Parole have helped many families keep their loved ones killers in prison with no parole. We can never repay him for all his hard work helping us.” – Joe

“Bret Vinocur is a dedicated advocate for missing, abused and murdered children and their families.  He worked tirelessly and was instrumental in the passing of Roberta’s Law enabling victims and families to have a voice in blocking parole of violent offenders.  His dedication and empathy is without equal. I applaud his continued efforts.”  – Theresa (retired CPD Lieutenant)

“Since being a victim of a horrendous crime, there is no doubt in my mind that the assistance of Bret Vinocur was a lifesaver for my wife, my children, and myself. His knowledge and expertise in dealing with the Ohio Parole Board has served as a road map for us at parole hearings after hearings.  His caring and hard work has helped us to keep tabs on the perpetrator and to keep him right where he belongs, in prison!  Thank you Bret Vinocur. for all you’ve done over the years for us, and many the other victims of crime.” – Edward

“Losing a child is the most difficult thing in the world. Losing a child to violence… well along with that comes the court, law enforcement and the perpetrator. Victims of violent crimes have very few resources to assist with the punishment and incarceration of the perpetrator and once incarcerated the push to let them out of prison never stops. If it were not for the efforts of Block Parole and Bret Vinocur I would not have been able to convince the parole board to deny parole for the man who murdered my 11 year old daughter. Their efforts are heroic and everyone should support this group.”  – Marcia
